Program Highlights

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations & Business will be provided an interdisciplinary education that seamlessly integrates business administrative skills with effective communication and human relations abilities.

The broad-based curriculum combines knowledge from the areas of business, human behavior, and communication in order to effectively engage, lead, and communicate with others. 

This program can be completed through a combination of online and on-campus courses or 100% online. Additionally, students may earn one or more certifications offered by Amberton while pursuing this degree.

The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and Business program is to help students develop communication and human relations skills applicable to business, explore methods of improving interpersonal relationships in organizations, and acquire business acumen to help them succeed in their professional lives. The Bachelor of Science in Human Relations & Business provides an interdisciplinary degree that balances business administration skills with effective communication and human relations abilities. The broad-based curriculum includes studies in the areas of business, human behavior, and communication. Students who graduate with this degree are prepared for a wide range of careers requiring human relations and business acumen along with communication proficiency.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and Business will be able to:

  • Create and compose informative messages applicable to businesses or organizations.
  • Design and propose communication to influence people in business or organizational settings.
  • Analyze contemporary business-related human relations issues faced by domestic or global organizations.
  • Devise strategies to improve interpersonal relationships within organizations or businesses.
  • Recommend ethical strategies for resolving challenges within the workplace.
  • Conduct research appropriate for human relations and business.
