Part-time Student Advisor - Frisco CenterAs a benefit to our students and in conjunction with business partnerships, Amberton University posts employment opportunities provided from businesses in the area for our graduates.
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD is currently accepting applications for elementary, middle and high school counselors. CFBISD provides several supports to new counselors in addition to yearly and ongoing support for all counselors, which includes new counselor academy sessions on Fridays throughout the first two months of school and mentorship from a district counseling specialist and a peer mentor. CFBISD also supports counseling through two licensed chemical dependency counselors, five crisis counselors, a counselor to support staff with referrals, and positive behavior facilitators serving general education students at the elementary level. At the high school level, counselors receive heavy support from College Career and Military Readiness deans who assist students and families with college financial aid and admissions applications.
