The program can be completed 100% online, though some coursework is available to be taken onsite at the student’s option. It also builds upon the BBA Accounting* program at Amberton to allow students to complete the coursework necessary to sit for the Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) exam in the state of Texas. Requirements for the exam vary from state to state and change periodically.

This option is only available for students completing the BBA-Accounting (CPA Track) and continuing into the MBA-Accounting. They are eligible to be taken after the student has completed 90 credit hours toward the BBA-Accounting degree.
Certificate programs can be earned in conjunction with degree programs or as stand-alone programs of study. Students may earn one or more certificates offered by Amberton while pursuing this degree.
