My Unique Approach to Education

“My enthusiasm for teaching comes from working with adult learners who have a heart for helping others. With this passion in students, our task is to take their God-given talents and help develop knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate mental health professionals who have the ability to make a difference in other people’s lives and in our world.”

Dr. Springer’s teaching career consists of over twenty years as an adjunct and full-time professor. She has been a full-time professor at Amberton University for the past six years. She has taught as an adjunct at Amberton University, University of North Texas, and Texas Woman’s University. She also has had a private counseling practice for over 20 years specializing in marriage and family counseling.
