Amberton University offers an education exclusively catered to the unique needs of Working Adults.
Home Our Mission
Amberton University was founded on Christian principles, and nearly all of our faculty and staff are Christians — but we do not require students to share these beliefs. We welcome learners from all backgrounds, faiths, and walks of life.
What does a Christian environment look like in practice? It shows up in how we treat people. Our Six Pillars of Service Excellence guide every interaction between staff and students: being open and welcoming, acting with full professionalism, communicating with respect, and maintaining personal integrity in everything we do. Ethics are also woven into every single course — and every degree requires an ethics class.
As Dr. Carol Palmer, University President, explains: “It’s how we conduct ourselves.” Values like honesty, teamwork, trust, kindness, and respect aren’t religious requirements — they’re the foundation of a quality education and a strong career.
