Bio

My Unique Approach to Education

“I like connecting many principles and concepts to sleep, cancer and how the brain can affect physiology.”

– Dr. Rene’ Salazar

I was very interested early on in the application of basic physics to the life sciences.  This led to doing doctoral research in blood vessel growth in cancer as well as a postdoctoral position looking at sleep and consciousness. I still maintain an interest in keeping up with the latest research in cancer and sleep.

Personal Quote:  “Getting sufficient sleep is the springboard for maximizing the day.”

Credentials
  • Bachelor of Science – Physics – 1990

    – Texas A&M University

  • Doctor of Philosophy – 1999
