Dr. Wright is a forward-thinking corporate leader with over 10+ years of experience skilled in all facets of business analytics, reporting, project management, risk management, resolution, change management, and diversity & inclusion (DEI). He is committed to leading and building impactful teams, executing creative problem-solving skills, and business consulting with the ability to work with leaders at all levels in the organization.
In addition to serving in the corporate setting, Dr. Wright serves as an adjunct professor at Amberton University in the curriculum of Business Management, and Concordia University Texas in the curriculum of Leadership Studies. His unique teaching style is centered around the best theories and practices for Diversity & Inclusion (DEI), and mental health awareness, which are his research interests and focus areas. He believes in empowering his students through peer-engaging projects and assignments that will yield strong relationships beyond the classroom. His syllabi create and implements relevant curriculum, exercise classroom management skills, and develop and administer assessments to support optimal student learning outcomes, while consistently achieving >98% student satisfaction ratings.
Also, he is the Vice-President of Administration for the DFW Chapter of National Black MBA Association. The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African Americans. We serve to:
– Provide innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth.
– Build partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth.
– Increase awareness and facilitate access to graduate education programs and career opportunities in management fields.
In addition to his professional expertise, Dr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas (UNT), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Amberton University (AU), and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from Abilene Christian University (ACU). His dissertation topic is entitled, “Exploring Online Mental Health Services: A qualitative study for first-year college students.”
