The 150-credit hour program requires students to complete a total of 45 hours of accounting courses in earning the BBA Accounting (CPA Track) and MBA Accounting.
Students who complete the Amberton University Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (CPA Track) and Master of Business Administration in Accounting meet the education requirements for becoming a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Amberton offers an accelerated MBA Accounting option for those completing the BBA Accounting degree (public accounting track) through Amberton. This accelerated MBA option allows a student to complete up to six graduate credits required in the MBA Accounting program as part of their BBA Accounting program. Taking advantage of this opportunity reduces the MBA Accounting degree to 30 additional credits beyond the BBA Accounting degree. This option is available 100% online.
