COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides an in-depth exploration of the theories and principles that underpin adult learning, training and development. Students will examine foundational models such as andragogy, transformational learning, experiential learning, and self-directed learning. The course will also explore the cognitive, motivational, and social factors influencing adult learners in diverse educational and workplace settings. Through research and applied practice, students will develop strategies for designing, facilitating, and assessing effective adult learning experiences tailored to various learning contexts and populations.
