Brief Biography:
Melissa Reed is a licensed nursing home administrator and educator at the college level. Her more than 20 years of healthcare experience has included overall facility fiscal and administrative management, identifying, and expanding services, assisted living community needs assessments, healthcare construction management, TIF and Tax Abatement financing, change of ownership negotiations, initial and ongoing regulatory compliance, and marketing expertise.
Melissa’s teaching experience includes at the collegiate level for both undergraduate and graduate students on-site and remote in Healthcare Administration. She is also known for her entrepreneurial side including the ability to patent, trademark, and produce her own product line as seen in Oprah Magazine, on the Today Show, and distributed by retailers worldwide.
