Essential Soft Skills

The Essential Soft Skills course is designed to provide students with foundational skills necessary for success in various professional and academic settings.  The course focuses on helping students to develop essential soft skills by using real-world scenarios, communication methods, emotional intelligence and problem-solving techniques crucial to success in the 21st century business environment.  Additional activities include creating a plan to develop a personal brand and analyzing case studies. 

UPON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE COMPETENT IN:

• Identifying ways in which emotional intelligence helps people learn and grow.
• Demonstrating effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication techniques focused on the audience.
