My Unique Approach to Education
“There are four predominant learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinaesthetic. In understanding this, my approach to education is to try and incorporate something from each of the learning styles in my courses. For visual learners, I use visual displays such as charts, graphs, and pictures. For auditory learners, I use lectures and discussion groups and/or general discussions in the classroom. For the read/writing learners I encourage them to read their notes/books and even re-write their notes. Kinaesthetic learners learn by doing so in lectures I usually incorporate a lot of examples.”
