Brief Biography:

• I worked in the retail end of the automobile business starting at age 14 on the wash rack and retired 35 years later as General Sales Manager. I have worked in all departments of retail dealerships over the years, so I have a great understanding of the business.
• I worked in dealerships all over the country: Birmingham, Alabama, Houston, Texas, Arlington, Virginia, and Flint, Michigan.
• I have always desired to teach in higher education and finally went back and earned my doctorate in 2002. Much better late than never!
• I started teaching in college part-time while still at a dealership 35 years ago. In academia, I have taught at multiple universities, both in-person and online, on applied marketing and management in automotive courses for over 30 years.
• There are few secrets left in the retail automobile business when students complete my classes.
