Amberton Rep Elected to Lead Collegiate Consortium
Amberton University Recruitment Director Glenn Sowells has been elected Chairman of the North Texas Collegiate Consortium. The NTCC consists of more than 15 North Texas area universities and colleges that work together with businesses and community organizations to promoted education options for adults. Glenn began his Chairman duties January 1.

Summer Session Dates Set
The Summer 2010 Session is set for June 12 through August 19. The session will run 10 weeks. Registration for classes begins May 1.

Graduation Filing Date Nears
The deadline to file for Spring Graduation is March 20. Undergraduate and Graduate students who have completed or will complete their degree are required to fill out a graduation application and submit a $100 filing fee by the deadline date. The commencement ceremony will be held May 21.

Three Information Sessions Scheduled for Spring Session
New and prospective students who want to learn more about Amberton University and the Spring 2010 Session are invited to attend the University’s Information Sessions at either the Garland campus or Frisco center. The first session will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on the Garland campus. The Frisco center will host the second session on Saturday, February 20 at 10 a.m.- noon . The Garland campus holds the third information session on Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.
